  1. Open File Definitions

  3. Note: The Close‚Ķ button allows you to close files which are currently open.  It
  4.            must be used very carefully as it can close files which are still being
  5.            used by another application resulting in, among other things, probable loss
  6.            of data and perhaps a corrupted file.  It should only used by experienced
  7.            programmers, primarily for the purpose of closing files which were left
  8.            open when a program crashed.  There are subsequent warnings and prompts
  9.            should you click on this button.

  11.            Also, if you hold down the <option> key before selecting this menu item, any
  12.            open Font files will not be listed.  This is made available since the font files
  13.            listing can be very long under System 7.1 or greater.

  18.    ‚óä Version = Version number if available
  19.    ‚óä File Type = Finder type
  20.    ‚óä File Creator = Finder creator
  21.    ‚óä RefNum = Reference number assigned by file system
  22.    ‚óä Open Fork = Data/Resource
  23.    ‚óä Data Fork Size = Size in bytes. This fork generally contains data 
  24.                   created by the user
  25.    ‚óä Resource Fork Size = This fork contains resources such as code, icons,etc.
  26.    ‚óä Created = Date and time of creation
  27.    ‚óä Modified = Date and time of modification
  28.    ‚óä Path Name = Location of the file
